Edan iM50
Compact 8.4" patient monitor with up to 13 waveforms. Features iSEAP ECG, SEMIP 12-lead diagnosis (208 results), iMAT SpO2, iCUFS NIBP algorithms. Optional CO2 monitoring, multiple display modes, LAN/WiFi connectivity to MFM-CMS via HL7/XML.
A compact monitor for the OR and ward
The Edan iM50 is a patient monitor with an 8.4-inch screen showing up to 13 waveforms. It has no fan, so it runs quietly without circulating dust, and it offers a night mode, protection against electrosurgical (ESU) interference in the operating room, and a portable design.
Edan algorithms:
- iSEAP: ECG analysis.
- SEMIP: 12-lead ECG interpretation with 208 diagnostic statements.
- iMAT: SpO₂ measurement.
- iCUFS: non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP).
Optional parameters: 12-lead ECG, invasive blood pressure (IBP), and sidestream or mainstream CO₂.
Data storage and connectivity
The iM50 stores 1,200 NIBP readings, 120 hours of trends and 48 hours of full-disclosure waveforms, so events can be reviewed after the fact.
It connects over LAN, WiFi or USB and sends data via HL7/XML to Edan's MFM-CMS central monitoring system.
Thunder Venture Group installs the monitor, sets up connectivity, trains users and calibrates with documentation at every visit, across all 77 provinces. If you need a larger screen or anaesthesia modules, see the GE B125M, or browse the full patient monitor range.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Edan iM50 suitable for the operating room?
Yes. It is protected against electrosurgical (ESU) interference and can add IBP and CO₂ for anaesthesia.
Can it send data to a central station?
Yes, over LAN or WiFi using HL7/XML to Edan's MFM-CMS central system.
